Happy Hour 4 Kids, founded in 2003, was created to serve the individual needs of children who were having difficulty socializing with their peers. The founders, as professionals in the field of special education, found a great need for a place in which children could get the individualized attention they needed within a group setting to learn, generalize and apply social skills. "The Stefanies" decided to start a social skills class for several of their students out of one the children's apartments. Since then Happy Hour 4 Kids has grown and collaborated with Joel Maute OTR/L, founder of Manhattan OT, to form a unique and comprehensive pediatric therapy center.

In 2005 Happy Hour 4 Kids teamed up with Manhattan OT, a related service agency, founded by Joel Maute in 2004, to create a state of the art pediatric therapy center. We have grown over the years and now offer speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, socialization groups, special instruction, ABA, SEIT and play therapy/counseling. Our knowledgeable, caring and dedicated staff is committed to serving the needs of children with all levels of abilities.
